Eternal life resides in Jesus and in Him alone. No one else! This is true now and will also be the case after Jesus removes His true church from the earth.
In John 14:6, Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
What do people need the most? The answer remains the same as it’s always been: A clear understanding of the Gospel. By this I mean that people need Jesus, not the one that so many today create in their mind but but the One revealed on the pages of Scripture.
It's because of the current push across the world to demonize the use of fossil fuels as well as those of us who do not believe the climate alarmists that I have decided to write a series of articles in response. In this first post, I present a biblical view of the environment in response to those that claims we are the deniers of reality.
Make no mistake, the Supreme Court ruling on June 24, 2022, overturning Roe v. Ware is a huge victory for life, and I’m overjoyed with the decision. It will possibly spare hundreds of thousands lives from a cruel and inhumane death.
However, I’m not overly optimistic because the ruling does not brighten the dark foreboding clouds on our horizon.
It’s because the entire world is so very close to the fulfillment of Revelation 6:1-8, and Scripture assures us that we will be with Jesus before these riders begin their deadly and noisy trek across the planet. We will hear the sound of the trumpet before the world hears the hoofbeats of the riders of the Apocalypse.
I’m weary of the excuses that I hear from pastors as to why they cannot talk about Jesus’ glorious return for His church. I’m tired of preachers going to great lengths to avoid saying the dreaded word, “Rapture.” You would think the church building roof would instantly cave in at even the mention of such a dreaded word.
“If there’s really so much to look forward to in eternity,” you might also ask, “why have so many believers lost their eagerness for it? Why do even seasoned students of prophecy at times lose their focus on our Lord’s appearing and their future reign with Him?”
Why the loss of excitement among believers for our “blessed hope?” Why do saints today have difficulty looking beyond the confines of this temporal world?
As deception, government corruption, violence, and lawlessness increase daily in our world, it becomes increasingly difficult to hang on to our hope in Jesus’ imminent appearing.
How do we keep our focus on the Rapture during these perilous times? Is there any hope for those of us weary of waiting for His return?
What does Daniel’s prophecy have to do with the Jesus’ imminent appearing? If the last period of Daniel’s “seventy weeks” is now nearing its start, this verifies that we live in the last days of human history. The scoffers of our day, however, tell us that Daniel’s words are no longer relevant for today and that Israel’s rebirth as a nation was just a fluke of history.

The opposition to Jesus’ future reign on earth remains intense. Although premillennialism grew dramatically during the twentieth century, many Bible-believing teachers and pastors have reverted to Augustine’s platonic view of reality that denies biblical teaching regarding the millennium.
What has caused this reversal in recent decades? I believe the roots of today’s passionate opposition to premillennialism lie in Satan’s continuing hatred of anything to do with Jesus’ future reign.
I realize that such disregard for life has been a part of wars throughout history; it’s full of genocidal accounts committed by evil people yielded to the devil. Who else could inspire such atrocities?
What we see today is worse than anything before because the devaluing of human life is more widespread than ever before.
